it was nice to see the culture it seemed to have dragged on forever. first they did a really nice welcoming performance, then you get split up to different groups and stop in about 7 different areas and they tell you about each section, then you to another room and then they do another performance, then you go to the... We did a combined visit to the artisan shops and school, the geothermal features and the cultural show and dinner. An interesting and worthwhile 5 hours. Not exciting and the food is fairly average, good but not great. The shops were probably the most interesting part. Recommended. You should probably go if you are here

Loved the whole experience. Prompt pick up from our hotel, wonderful Maori greeting, amazing cultural activities to view and a delightful walk around a forest. The meal at the end was delicious, plentiful and welcome. I feel fortunate to have had the good sense to book this trip whilst I was in Rotorua. I suggest you do the same!

Toured the steam pit process, then enjoyed pumpkin and sweet potato soup, smoked and raw fish, chicken, pork, lamb, and venison. First Pavlova and hokey pokey ice cream and more for delicious dessert! Enjoyed the beautiful voices and cultural insights. We were a group of 28 with the Globus tour and about half were called up to be part of... More

Its good to watch Maori culture show, but not very exciting. Its colorful traditional way of greeting, dance, songs and some unique instruments. They would invite audience to participate in dance on stage.

The show was entertaining and colourful. The traditional greetings, songs, costumes, instruments was a unique experience. The food was cooked using the heat of the rocks so the steamed items were delicious. They also provided a lot of other dishes along with the hangi.

Family holiday, lovely experience, Geyser that reminder of Chile at Atacama, with the difference we saw the Geyser in Rotorua at night time, in Chile very early in the morning and very cold too. Lovely thermal waters, you can soak in as much as you pleased..for a price of course. Little bit expensive the area in general, hotels, attractions, food.,... More

Our driver Ahora was terrific. We loved riding on her bus. The show was very informative and we enjoyed the dinner cooked underground in the traditional Maori way. One of the highlights of our trip.

This was the best cultural experience I've ever had! Traditional maori haka, war dances, songs, food. I'm in awe of the pride shown by all involved. An absolute must for any age!!
