500m long suspended tree walk. Beautiful and peaceful. Hardly anyone up there with us so we went around twice. They are about to offer night walks as well with lights hanging in the trees. That sounds like even more fun. Gread activity with kids.

Fun to walk between the tree tops on well done and secure swinging bridges. Awesome to be up and above looking down to the forest's floor

Except for the whole side of the mountain that has been chopped down (yellow trail), the mix of native bush and californian redwoods is an impressive and beautiful forest to walk (or jog, or bike, or horseride). There are trails for all aptitude. Even the smaller ones are very nice although very popular. Bring water and camera.

It was wonderful to see such large redwoods outside of California. The trees are beautiful and you feel like you are in an enchanted forest. Well worth the quick stop!

We recently hired some bikes and spent a tiring but enjoyable four hours riding through the Redwoods. The views and sights are divine. The tracks are great and no matter what your ability level, there will be a number of tracks for you. The only thing that we didn't enjoy was a brief interaction with some more serious mountain bikers... More

Great way to get in some exercise while taking in some beautiful scenery (and smells!!) Some nice views of the lake at higher elevations. Also a very popular mountain biking area.

We found out about this forest through a brochure in our hotel and it turned out to be great. The trails are clearly marked and short enough to fill some time, but not take up the whole day. The fact that there's no charge to enter, park and hike was an unexpected pleasant surprise. There are informative signs to explain... More

Such a breath of fresh air - somewhere free, even the car parking. That's except for the tree walkways.
