We visited this place on a very wet day, so there were not many people there. Our son chose a few bags of food to feed the animals and had a great time. The lion presentation was informative. Staff were friendly and ammenities clean.

We loved our day here. We had four youngish children who really enjoyed themselves. I thought the grounds were so neat and well maintained.

A good walk around the lion enclosure showed us 11 lions. Feeding time is 2.30pm daily. There is also a good boardwalk around trout pools and into bush. We enjoyed feeding the deer and pigs. Not as swept up as Rainbow and Fairy Springs.

I went because as a kid this was one of my fave Rotorua attractions. My 5yr old liked it but it was a bit pricey I thought for what you get. The lions were a bit of a sad sight, the enclosure was quite small and not sure how this addition enhances the experience to be honest.

This is a small yet very nicely designed family wildlife park that would suit all ages... great close up experiences with all sorts of native and farm animals and where else could you go to pat lion cubs?? just walk in the special enclosure and meet their handlers and pat the gorgeous cubs!! Again, this is a really nicely set... More

Nice park to look around and feed the animals. Just a pity there were no lion cubs to pat. Very tidy park and staff were friendly :)

Been here before, good to revisit again.. Kids enjoy the various sorts of animals and trouts, especially the lions. Though weather wasn't as good, still an interested place. Reasonably priced, and we spent over 1 1/2 hours there. Delightful visit

The lion viewing was great especially for the children. Seeing them being feed fascinated the little one (and the bigger ones!)

This was great. The walk through the forest was interesting and gave an active toddler plenty to look at and use up some energy. Feeding the fish and animals was great too. Only disappointment was the feeding the lions wasn't until 2.30pm which was during sleep time and would have made too long. Perhaps an earlier time would suit better... More
