This was kind of an unexpected jewel when we visited Rotorua. First of all, we happened to arrive just when they started feeding the lions. You can get pretty close to them even though they’re behind a fence, and the man feeding them told us about them while they were eating. Second, we got to pet the two adorable lion... More

easy to find, polite, well presented staff, very friendly young ladies. park was well kept but i did think it was slightly over priced. but nevertheless, we had a great time. We watched the lions get fed and were told some pretty interesting facts by the staff feeding them.and stroked a lion cub. well worth it just for that.

We arrived at around 8.30 and we were the only people there. Walked around the place and saw everything by the time the lion cubs came out at 10.30. Great to be able to interact with them - be quick though, they fall asleep quickly, so we were very lucky that they were awake when we stroked them - 15mins... More

This is a small but spectacular facility and a must see if you are a Lion fan, We traveled the area and Australia for several months and this was a top 10 highlight for my children. We got to spend about 15 minutes in the cage playing with 2 little lion cubs.

We had a most enjoyable afternoon here! We were so impressed with the fabulous bush walks among fresh water springs and the crystal clear ponds with rainbow trout. Stunning!! Ponds with ducks and other birdlife were so well presented and in keeping with a natural environment for them - not smelly like wetland areas can be! Great to see animals... More

A really great place to visit for all the family. Stroking the lion cubs appealed to my wife whilst I thoroughly enjoyed the walk around the site especially the tree line walk. Great views of the fish. We should have planned more time but a great visit.

We had heard very little about this place, so when we saw the flyer in our motel room we decided to check it out for ourselves. About 10 minutes north of Rotorua it is nestled into a beautiful valley filled with native New Zealand bush and fresh water springs ( yes they produce fantastic bottled water here too) $70 later...
