Lake Rotorua is a huge lake in Rotorua, fairly flat water with small ripples. We loved the views across Lake Rotorua, and drove around the edge of the lake to get the views from all around. Nice to sit by and relax.

Another beautiful lake is seen here in Rotorua. Quite busy on the town side with lots of very tourist orientated things happening. Nice walks available around the lakeside that can be enjoyed at your leisure.

We got to see the black swans frequenting the area (feeding prohibited) as well as many ducks and seagulls. There are restaurants and picnic areas. A seaplane and boat rides are also available. Within walking distance to many things. Just park off on a bench...More

Really enjoyed our walk around the outskirts of the gardens along the lake pathways. Lots of little snippets of information about the whole area.
