Best free hot spring ! Had to find it and since have tried to keep it a secret but can't help telling friends about it. Grand kids spent 3 hours the the other week.. Worth the trek beyond Rotorua and dirt road

If you're heading to Taupo via Rotorua this is a must. We got there at sunrise and enjoyed the experience to ourselves. Magical!

I would say the temperature was equivalent to the average hot tub/spa, so around 30-32*C.
