the only poor thing about this is it's only open two days a week, which is a total shame as this is a brilliant local museum. Heaps to see and do, if a little disorganised, but well, well worth it ..... a total must do...More

Didnt find this overly exciting. Son loved the train but other than that didnt find too much to keep us entertained for very long.

I didn't know this place existed but it is a wonderful find. Step back in time - the houses are as they were back in the early 20th century and the water pump and forge all are working with staff there who show how things...More

Extreme feel of historic places is the thing which attracts you over here.. Well guided by our tour guide. Recommended place for history lovers

Totally run by volunteers, this free museum is a wonderful place to visit to get the real feel of how it must have been. Check out the forge with the blacksmith hammering away making things just the way they used to. Enjoy

had a guided tour round the museum, which was very informative. The exhibits are detailed, if some of the cures a bit gruesome !
