    worth the drive from rotorua
such a great place to visit, well worth the 30min drive from Rotorua. a range of pools to soak in and a large enough area for the kids to splash about without bothering those in the hottest pools. had food there too, Nachos were spot on and the hot chip were good. will be getting an annual ticket so we can come back every month.

    Must see and do.
Simply mind blowing experience. A walk to the spring is a must. Unbelievable how much boiling water is flowing around this area. Private hot pool was definitely worth a relaxing 40 minutes. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

    Fabulous Break
Had the best time with the grandchildren, aged 6 and 8. Stayed for four nights. The campsite and facilities extremely clean. Loved the fact no WIFI. We all enjoyed the pools...so relaxing. Will definitely be back and fully recommend.

Great thermal pools and convenient base for the area
We spent 2 nights here in our campervan. We had a powered site, unpowered/tent available too. $70 per night for the 2 of us including access to the best hot pools we have found on North Island from 7am to 7pm was excellent value. We soaked in the pools each morning and evening and used it as a base to explore the area, we went cycling in the forest, rafting down the big waterfall and visited Te Puia. I'd recommend them all. Kitchen and toilets were clean and modern. It is a pretty small site, we booked the day before in May and it wasn't full but I guess it could get very busy during holiday times.

Highly recommend staying here. Check in was very smooth and friendly. The location of the campsite to the pools was excellent. The pools were amazing even in the middle of winter. Amenities were very clean and tidy. This is a must do on your trip.

Out in the middle of the countryside we spent a great couple of hours soaking in the different pools. Lovely atmosphere and spotlessly clean.

Great site, good facilities and amazing pools - bit expensive but it was a good stop with the camper van. The cake from the shop was 11/10 !!!
