This was the second time I'd been to the Rotorua night market and loved it again. From 5 - 9pm two sections of the main street are closed off to cars and filled with food stalls, craft/gift stalls and entertainers. Incredible choice of cuisine -...More

Walk through Rotorua at night, all the cafes by the lake are open and inviting for a break. Children will find it fun as they can gather souvenirs.

The market is open every Thursday night. It's actually a international market, you can easily find food from different cultures: European, Asian, Mexico, Korean, Spain, Japanese....... Live music is wonderful. Lots of seating area with beam bags tables and chairs.

This was an unexpected surprise, lots of great street food. I was expecting lots of souvenirs and junk but it was almost all food and great value. The dumplings had a big line but it moved fast and they were excellent.
