Hi, sorry to hear you found the paths difficult. I am trying to work our where you could be talking about. The paths around the buildings are steel walkways or concrete. As you venture out into the garden the two main trails are well established...More

Thanks for your review but I think you may be confusing Pukeiti with Pukekura Park. Some of this is true for Pukeiti but we don't have a lake or a fountain and generally no live shows.

Went to Pukeiti for lunch with my Wife & Elderly Mother. Entry to the cafe was not normal and they went of their way to provide alternative entry. Had an enjoyable lunch at cafe. Great setting.

We did the walk through the Valley of the Giants, which was wonderful. The paths were well maintained and there were some mew sculptures which were being completed. Plenty of opportunities to sit and rest and absorb the peace, and plenty of shade on a...More

This park is brilliantly designed and is well worth a visit. It has lots of different walking options for short and longer walks. It was brilliant to see in January and I can't imagine how fantastic this place would be when the azaleas and rhododendrons...More

Thanks very much for your review. You're right, Pukeiti is stunning at any time of the year but it's worth coming back in the spring if you can.

Pukeiti Gardens are well known but this was our first visit. What a treasure! We were lucky enough to be taken around the garden by electric cart driven by the head gardener who pointed out many of the key plants within the gardens. We gained...More
