The park is iconic to Taranaki, a wonderland which also was used in parts of the Tom Cruise movie Samarai . Took our 16 month old baby boy, loved feeding the ducks in the pond. Played in the adventure park, play ground. One word, Awesome.

There's something for everyone in the gorgeous park. A decent children playground, a nice little cafe, easy walks and wonderful fernery. Well worth a visit.

Pukekura Park is a wonderland, I don't want to rave about it too much because I want to keep it for myself and my kids, who basically grew up exploring the many paths and places. A wonderland for young and old.
