Strange to find big cats in the shadow of Mt Taranaki! But at Pouakai Zoo they have some magnificent wild animals on display. Great to be able to get close to such wild creatures and endless photographic opportunities!

Its lovely to amble a long and look at the aminals. Some of the enclosures are not used and it feels like there needs to be a lot of upgrades done.
