Enjoyable 30 mins on the lake. Mr 11 rowed us around - lovely sunny day, very peaceful. Would recommend.

We rang at 11am from out of town to book at 2:30 when we got here they said 3 then when we said ok can we book they said 3:30 With three children this make it very difficult as they had been promised a boat ride It is a great place but they have no idea about service for out of town visitors

Fun for anyone of any age! This is definitely a must do in summertime. You buy your tickets from the tearoom opposite at fair rates for a 30 minute row. I have great memories as a child here. Particularly beautiful and fun during the festival of the lights.

The rowboats are not to blame. The pond it. While being incredibly beautiful, it is also incredibly small. Being rowed around the pond at high speed felt more like observing someone exercising than a romantic row on the pond. My SO loves these boats so I will be going again.

Pukekura Park and the row boats is a set in a lovely natural setting in New Plymouth, Taranaki. A wonderful day out for families and friends. You can hire boats and row on a lake that is smooth while looking at the natural beauty of the trees that surrounds the lake. Ducks are plentiful for those who want to take bread and feed them on your little rowing journey. Afterwards you can go and have a coffee with great food to offer.
