About
We are primarily a wildlife boat tour attraction where we head out of the Port of Taranaki towards the Sugar Loaf islands to look at the seal colony. We also provide SUP, Kayak and bike hire and SUP lessons upon booking request. We cater for groups, events, schools, kids, adults, individuals, couples etc. We are run and managed by a former All Black and the fastest woman to solo row the Atlantic and there is also a museum of old nautical memorabilia, live cam of the local little blue penguins and seahorses to look at. Please check times when booking as Mondays are sometimes closed. Hours may vary depending on tides and weather. Sunset cruises are also available. Check website booking system for more details

We had a fabulous, informative trip around the Sugar loaves, Parititu with a great host. We felt welcome and the trip was very safe.

Intrigued by the outlying Islands we hoped to find a tour that would take passengers for a closer look. Thank goodness for the internet! Captain Tony took us out on the Rescue Three (built in 1950's) for a fun and informative trip. This was one of our favorite activities during our NZ holiday.

Had a great time with family! The captain was super friendly and funny! Let’s the kids have a drive of the boat too. Had fun seeing the islands, listening to the stories and seeing some seals. Highly recommend this boat trip

The team was extremely friendly and accommodating. The captan shared interesting facts during the trip and made every effort to allow all on board the vessel to view the islands and the seals.

trip around the sugarloaf islands and spotting baby seals unfortunately tainted by a racist skipper making inappropriate remarks about the Asian passengers/customers on the boat. Would not recommend.

Hi ,I have a group of 10 and please i want to find a boat which available on Saturday 6/11 for fishing and and few beers .

Thanks for the question. The winter months this depends largely on the COVID situation and whether we can get back to Europe this winter. If ypu could check back nearer the time that would be great. The boat takes 30 people 👍🏼
