The Kawaroa Pool and Aquatic Centre has a pe-eminent spot on New Plymouth's waterfront. Costs a mere $6 to have a swim in the outdoor or either of the indoor pool.

Stumbled on this place by accident and I was glad I did. There are plenty of things for children to do here and it's great for taking pictures or just chilling. There are plenty or car park spaces (but no freedom camping), so getting here...More

A fun little playground, great for the kids. Close to the pool and the walkway, so a great spot to stop and have a play. The slides are long and possibly have the best views in town!

My wife and I popped down to Kawaroa Park for photographs. We got a great view of the shoreline as well as the nearby power station.

We came here with my family to celebrate my sons 6th birthday. Postcard views that look out over the ocean. A park that keeps the kids busy for hours. Beautiful picnic spot. Access to rock pools below and the renowned walkway.

This is one of the loveliest places you could bring your children to. Its a lovely playground that gets very busy right by the sea. When you have finished playing you can take your children down to the rock pools and find starfish etc.

So many pools it's hard to decide what to do. Very clean, indoor and outdoor pools are both great for swimming lengths and plenty for our four year old. Such a great asset for the city

Great entertainment for all the family. Young or old. Spent time with the Children/Grandchildren recently for a birthday outing. Kids and Grandad loved the waterslides!
