Lovely areas of river & lakeside with the ducks & people enjoying the views.
The spot where you normally can see Mt Taranaki from was covered in cloud, however the surrounding area was still worth a good look.

Lovely easy walk 3-4 km (1.5-2.5 mi) along a well formed track. While there is a short narrow section elevated over the river, this is manageable for most able bodied people.
