Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A Canadian, rugby fan seeing the All Blacks live in their home country! Seeing the Haka live! Could have been in a parking lot and still would be a ‘5’. But at this stadium - it was even more special to the entire experience. This is truly a place where there are no bad seats. The staff are helpful and kind. And the atmosphere is excellent. You would never see this type of environment at an NFL game.

Well set up for huge numbers of people. Lots of stewards, felt very safe even with my blind husband. Very easy to find our seats, lots of reasonably clean toilets. Just not enough FIFA stands for sales of merchandise (Not the stadium's fault!)

Eat before you go as food here is expensive and terrible. Service is the slowest you can imagine and queues are long. It costs $30 to park you car at the stadium for an event and it takes for ever to get out of the car park. If you can, take the train and then it's a windy 10 min walk from the station. Once you are there and seated the stadium is well designed to get a good view of the action.

It is the home of the Hurricanes Rugby team and Wellington Phoenix football team, nice stadium. if you going to watch a game, take something warm as there is not that much protection from the elements.
its run well, staff are good and stadium is really nice

Went to my first-ever rugby match, the local Hurricanes vs visiting Crusaders.
The stadium was great. Easy to get to - we walked from our Wellington hotel. I don't think there's a bad sat to see the game, although towards the centreline (as opposed to the ends) seemed preferred.
And the game was very entertaining as well. Lots of big hits and exciting plays. Glad to have had the chance to watch a game!

Have always loved the 'Cake Tin' and this ended up being one of the best concerts I've ever been to! (Also seen bands like AC/DC & Rolling Stones & Robbie Williams here)
The weather wasn't great and rained allot, but this seemed to spur the band on and they really looked like they were loving playing in the bad weather & acted very appreciative of the 31,500 that came out in the bad weather to see them.
The staff did a fantastic job, the food and drinks were better quality than in the past and the crowd were superb :)
A brilliant night!!

To introduce my brother from Australia to our local Beervana was meant to be a great event for us both. I even talked a couple of colleagues into coming with us. Much to my regret. Our best parts of the night were spent pre and post the event at the Thistle Inn and Cavern Club. The night was one complete rip off and disaster. The organisers should be looking seriously at future events and the false advertising and rip off factors. I certainly wont be going again and will be letting others know of the total rip off.
First of all the ticket cost $45 which on reading initially the information before buying I thought that this was going to give us some samples of craft beer. However the $45 was for only 1 plastic cup and a booklet. A wristband was given at the gate which then had to be loaded with money. This also then had a further $2 activation charge. Going around the stalls the cost of the beer for 75mls was $2.50 and for 250mls $6, but if the beer was higher in alcohol content the price for both sizes was higher. The food on offer was disgusting and very expensive. $5 was the cheapest for a slice of pizza. Most meals (if you could call them that) a small tasting was $7-$10. If this wasn't bad enough getting into the stadium was an act. Long ques standing in the rain with only 1 gate open with two lines. To be told when finally reaching the gate that you are in the wrong line, I refused go back into the rain and join the other que and had to duck under the barrier apologising to the person behind me that I had pushed in front off. Then once inside this act of finding out that the ticket we had required money on the wristband. They even tried to send us back outside to get it sorted until we refused and had some person in charge come and sort it out. So soaking wet and cold there were just a few patio heaters scattered around the place. Not a fun night at all

We went to the Tahs vs Canes game on Saturday night. Great game, 19 all at half time, and great result for Tahs fans with 29-24 at full time. I was expecting a flogging after our last loss to the Stormers and the Canes being undefeated.
The Stadium itself is quite a sight, and located close to the CBD, with a short walk from the station via the concourse. Seating is good, although I think they squeezed a few extra seats in from the original design. The bar upstairs had a good choice of food and beverage and an interesting outlook over the timber ship being loaded.
A great experience.

Going to the all blacks vs springboks on Saturday, but we won't get into Wellington until about 7pm. What is parking like at this time? How long does it take to get from park to stadium? Will we get there in time?

We want to go to the TeMatatini Kapa Haka Festival in February. Do the teams perform in the middle of the field? Are tickets for specific seats in the stadium?
