The building itself is impressive architecture, and the displays are very well curated. The War exhibit was done by Weta Cave, so is more than lifelike. The earthquake exhibits are interactive and fun.

We went to the Gallipoli exhibition and I would recommend it to everyone! The only thing that was annoying was the screaming children running around but it was still incredible.

Great morning out. The gallipoli experience was great. So much history. Loved the Maori history. Plenty of interactive things for the children.

We visited this during the school holidays and it wasn't crowded at all. So much to see and do for all ages. GO VISIT!! The Gallipoli Exhibition was so well done and very thought provoking.

The museum is a six level building sitting by the seaside. A very informative, interesting and valuable place to visit. My family has been here before but this time I'm impressed by the "Gallipoli. The scale of our war"

However we found that there was no order the cultural exhibits. For example, it was impossible to get a linear order of Maori culture. We actually learnt more from the kids sections. Good museum, but could... More

Awesome Gallipoli exhibition and worth waiting in the queue for. Teenager enjoyed it. We were all moved by it. Cafe at Te Papa could be a lot better. It would be great if our National Museum had excellent coffee and food.

This museum is massive and it was probably a mistake to start it when we were already tired from so much walking. There was so much to see and we just could not get through it all. One part that we could not miss was the Gallipoli exhibit. It was just incredible. As well as being full of interactive displays... More
