End of the Americas cup parade and what an atmosphere. Sheltered and perfect place to host an outdoor event. The entrance way to many attractions and a great meeting place.

What a great place to come. No wind gorgeous Crisp night with light projected onto a building and people milling around with glow sticks and children chasing bubbles. I miss the silver ball of ferns usually seen suspended above. What a great area to visit.

The Civic Square is a place before its time - still underused but ready for hanging out amidst the great architecture and public art!

Lovely area. Beautiful buildings and so clean. My camera did over time and views of the sea too, so relaxing after walking about the city. Good selection of cafe's in this area and at one end the wonderful Museum.

The square itself is and clean. Heaps of people sit around and chat and it's very social. Surrounding the square is the Wellington water front, Wellington library and the Wellington art gallery.

Definitely not a square! Definitely, a nice place to relax, admire the architecture. Close to many other attractions and points of interest.

This square is wvery well suited if you need a break. The architecture is quite fascinating and the square itself is rather quiet and offers a lot of places to relax.

The city of Wellington uses space in a practical and user friendly way. Nice gathering place for locals and tourist to rest overlooking the inner harbour. A tourist information centre around the corner which is well visited by tourist.
