I had a wonderful 2 hour trek on a gorgeous horse called Gandhi. The ride started with a few more riders (including some beginners who in no way detracted from my ride as a more experienced rider) who only went for 1 hour before I and my experienced guide continued on for another hour. We had so much fun at this place. Mandy and her team were fantastic and went out of their way to make my niece and nephew’s first riding experience one to remember. Thank you Mandy and your team, we had a great time and will definitely come back.

The route took in steep country, stream crossings, summit ridges and pine forest, and the horses were chilled and obedient. The guides were fantastic, with a lovely manner with the children. A simply wonderful experience, and so close to Wellington CBD!…
