I drove state highway 6 from Queenstown to Nelson Simply outstanding When every other highway was closed due to snow , SH6 got me out of Queenstown Make sure you drive to the conditions Go slow stop take photos enjoy

This excellent road from Greymouth all the way down past the Glaciers, is just superb and a joy to drive. I like twisty roads and sports cars and this road fits the bill. Great fun. BE CAREFUL if you are not used to European twisties.

Yes I think your right! I was too busy trying to not crash into truck drivers and buses to remember! It's always more terror when your in a bus trying to push the imagination brake pedal !! Thanks for sharing
