Enjoyable to walk around

Spent a couple of hours walking around the gardens on a sunny day, plenty of places to sit. Loved the rose garden and aquatic areas

A welcome oasis in the centre of the busyness of Christchurch. Some beautiful displays and historic buildings well preserved. Cafe was a bit busy and messy but ok

A wonderful place to explore - there are so may pockets of beauty in the gardens and huge expanse of peacefulness. You can always find a place to be in awe of the beauty. The Hot Houses are lovely too. I can spend hours there - take a book or just wander - it's a beautiful place :)

Do not miss the visitor centre displays. Conservatories. Roses and dahlias and lilies just fantastic. There is a small train but we did not take it not clear how much it costs. The gardens are free.
