No where, not even in Napa, is there so much great wine in such a small area. One needs several days to get a taste of all the exceelent wines and wineries.

Great wine and what an education in flavours and tastes. Please try the grapes that you would normally give a miss.

Not simply drinking wines for enjoyment, but being able to view row upon row of gorgeous grapes ripening on the vines is one of life's simple pleasures.

The Marlborough region is one of the most beautiful places you will ever visit. Miles and miles of vineyards with tastings and food to delight every palate. A wonderful spot to position yourself and take day trips to the Picton and the Marlborough sounds.

All the vineyard cellar doors I visited were amazingly friendly and generous with wine tastings for which I was never charged. Was also able to ramp up my vino knowledge a tad. A great vineyard touir best dsone on a bicycle from Blenheim or Renwick.
