Joined a morning guided tour and it was wonderful. The guide (Norma) was friendly, informative and passionate about the gallery and the collections. Her narration brought the collections to life. In the end the tour ran over time as nobody wanted it to stop! I...More

wonderful innovative building, love the ideas and design of the building, good to see that it is not "big slabs of concrete" and is low height and fits in with the surrounds, had morning tea and it was delicious

Awesome building, great exhibitions, comfy nooks to sit and enjoy free wifi. Photography allowed without flash. Free entry. Great games table for kids although the day we were there, all of the adults were using it!

The architecture of this building may be the best art on display. Just beautiful. The collection itself is a bit mixed, but that perhaps just reflects that I am not a huge fan of ultra modern art and art "installations." Definitely worth a visit, if...More

I would "generally" describe this gallery as one of modern art, but yes I was quite glad to also find a "pretty fair number" of big traditional-styled paintings (since I just don't have much of an eye, so to speak, for modern art); the "most...More

The building itself qualifies as a work of art, but when you step inside you’ll find lots more to delight you. Although not a huge gallery, the works on display during my visit were interesting, varied and inspirational- I was even able to make a...More

The Art Gallery has a lift for people in wheelchairs or using mobility aids. It also has a ramp for access as well as the stairs. There are several accessible toilets on both levels.
