Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This 19th century white stone building is very impressive, especillay as it is located on one of several hills in Dunedin. As the interior was closed we could only admire its impressive turrets and spires apart from the very tall central spire. The gothic style church is in white marble unlike many other Dunedin buildings in Blue stone.

I like the Gothic architecture and the stained glass windows. The history displayed in the church is very informative, and good to read from a historical perspective.

Very nice church that is worth a visit rather than St Pauls on the Octagon - in my opinion. It is just a street down from that area but many people miss it.

Visited on Monday 30th April. We were disappointed to see it covered in scaffolding on the outside but then realised that they were trying to perserve this heritage building for future generations. The inside was Magnificent and worth taking the time to visit.

We did not go into this building but from the outside it looked like a lot of the older ones of similar style in Britain and Europe, if you like Churches or Cathedrals it would be worth a visit.

A breathtaking building. Very unusual for a non-conformist church. The wide inside space is amazing. Don't miss it.

Located a 5-minute walk from the octagon, this 19th century church features a gothic design, which oozes character.
-We visited the church after dark, and its beautiful design provided some lovely photo ops.

This is a gorgeous old and first church of Dunedin. Recently restored. The Scottish Presbyterian nature is clear as a bell though the pews do have pillows. The organ, we would have loved to hear it bellow in the church itself which seemed ideal for it. The gorgeous stained glass.. Great place for solitude. Wonderful. Donations accepted. Easy to get to walking, but parking will be a challenge.
