Our cruise ship stopped in Port Chalmers, from where most of the available tours went to Dunedin. After having tired of the many standard tourist sites that were inundated with multiple tour buses, we opted for a small tour to two less overrun and in many ways more interesting sites. This was 4 Nature Tours, to see the Moeraki Boulders,... More

Really enjoyed our 2 day tours with Joanne and Trii. Saw a lot of wildlife (birds, penguins, seals, albtross) and did not feel rushed. Loved the ANZAC cookies during our coffee break. They knew all their native plants and animals and explained everything very well. Also enjoyed the lunch at Fluers Place and dinner at 1908. Highly recommended tour company!... More

The best part of the trip was that Joanne our guide is very knowledgeable about the outdoors. She supplemented the wildlife and views we saw with information that made us appreciate the scenery and the birds more. It is amazing how she could recognise the bird calls and identify the species, look for it and point the bird to us.... More

There were only two of us on the tour. Joanne was a great guide; very knowledgeable. She even provided refreshments. We saw very interesting things, including the downtown, beach, penguin sanctuary, and lunch was at a lovely restaurant that has its own boat. Fresh seafood!

This day was incredible. We saw the gorgeous shoreline and hillside scenery, enjoyed the fantastic lunch of seafood caught the same day and the Moeraki round rocks were amazing - Joanne was amazing as a tour guide. This is really a 5 star tour!

This organised trip for five people was just wonderful. We visited so many places and it was stunning. Starting off we went to an Ecosanctuary where we saw a number of birds including the Takahe which is an endangered species. Then on to the Moeraki boulders situated on a huge beach north of Dunedin. Lunch was at Fleurs a seafood... More

Dr Joanne Harrison was wonderful and made this a day to remember. We had a great day in Dunedin (full and packed day). Did go to wonderful natural sites and bird sanctuary. (The home made cookies were excellent as well). If you are going to Dunedin and want to see all the natural beauty of the area this is the... More

We took a tour with 4Nature Tours – our tour guide Joanne was great. Our first stop was the Organ Pipes – we did the hike up to the organ pipes first thing (she picked us up from the boat at 8:30 am). It was nice to go early as it is a ½ mile hike up – 800 ft.... More

We have visited this place many times. the most fabulous experience ever. So lucky we have this place on our door step. The tour guides are very knowledgable and really know their "stuff". The meal at the end of the tour is very Kiwi style food. Very good value for money. they cater for families and corporate functions. they have... More

This tour was a phenomenal experience and we are so happy we had the opportunity to spend time with Teresa, our guide. We needed a bit of flexibility in scheduling and Joanne, the owner, was so helpful to us. We were picked up by Teresa at our hotel and given such a wonderful narrative about the Dunedin area including architecture... More
