This was part of our tour of the Otago peninsula. We travelled in the coach to the nature sites but others within our tour had opted for the all terrain transport - it looked like fun. However on a cold day, you may prefer the coach and banter of the owner Perry Reid. We were lucky enough to see sea... More

This tour is an absolute must to visit and I cannot praise the staff enough for a magnificent experience that I shall never forget. The all terrain vehicle ride around this wonderful peninsula was great fun in itself but to be surrounded by seals and penguins that were totally in their natural surroundings was inspiring. The lengths they go to... More

Great people but they believe their own sales hype. Paying double to ride in an Argo is a waste of money, the bus gets to the same place. Friendly commentary but a tendency to rubbish competitors, even those overseas. They need to tell potential Argo passengers that this is not suitable for people with back problems!

I don't understand any of the poor reviews for this place. This is a unique and wonderful experience and one that I look forward to doing again. Offering the most amazing views of the Ottago peninsula, along with close encounters with seals and penguins and the owners of this magnificent private property were so friendly, knowledgeable and passionate, a real... Family run wildlife experience for those seeking a walk to the wild side. Great experience especially for those who are not up for a big walk to the wild side i:e little walking required as you are transported to the perfect coastal wildlife colonies on these southern shores. Wonderful & passionate undertaking with heart & soul for the preservation of... More

Thanks Neil who kept this tour informative! loved the beauty of Otago Peninsular, although sadly we did not see the yellow eyed penguin as it is yet to be in the season and they are really rarer and rarer due to extinction. but we saw the blue little ones who were peeping at us :) the 8x8 was so awesome! the... Tour over muddy rugged terrain in 4WD open air vehicles. Truly into the pastures and backroads. Beautiful overview of the coastline and inland. Short walk to see fur seals over a boardwalk path. Jacket and binoculars provided. Take your long camera lens to get pics of yellow eyed penguin (alas, we didn't)

Saw an add on the Dunedin guide maps/pamphlets and decided to give it a go - and so glad! We travelled as two adults and one 9 year old. From memory i think this group are not well supported by the Department of Conservation and it's a private funded sanctuary (i think) so any support helps! It's a bumpy ride... More

Excellent tour. The owner Perry was driving my vehicle, a real character who is passionate and proud of his beautiful property and so he should be. Totally amazing views! The birds, seals and penguins were a sight to behold. Funny little vehicles used, a challenge to get in and out of for the non flexible but I managed with a... More

Bumped into the owner Perry whilst we were in the north of the north island and thought we'd take him up on his offer to have a look around the Peninsula. It was amazing, friendly folk, cool vehicles, awesome view and insightful information plus we got really up close and personal with the wildlife, seal pups in particular. When we... More
