Really disappointed with the closure of Invercargills Museum. It was a great place for tourists and locals. The giftshop was great for presents and everyone loved visiting Henry. Its a shame they cant fix it

Local free museum with various subjects of interest. My favorites were the history of now extinct birds of NZ and early explorers to Antartic.

This is a small museum but it has a little of everything. WW1 display, art for sale, Maori artefacts, geography, a live breading program for some lizards and also a popular cafe. It is free to enter. Well worth a visit.

This small museum covers so much and it's all very well set out. The display about ships wrecks and early adventurers was very interesting. Something for everyine to see. Helpful staff. too.

Had a lovely time here, especially seeing the Tuatara was something special! WWII exhibit was also great, I just wish the souvenir shop was bigger! :)
