It's free, and really relaxing. You can just chill out watching the world go by or go for a walk. If you are wanting something with more movement they have a hire of a frisbee which has a track along the park I think of a cost of $5 which seems really fun, and cheap!

Very pretty, We walked all the way around the gardens and was amazing. We walked through it every day taking a different route to go to town.

Lovely break from the crowded claptrap shops and bars of Queenstown. Nice view over lake Wakatipu. Skate park and frisbee golf ready.

Peaceful and beautiful. Went here at dusk, still plenty of people playing frisbee golf. Felt safe and clean. Nice public restrooms too!

Easily accessed from the waterfront area, the park is a lively place for a stroll, either in the daytime or evening. There are paths which follow the water's edge or cut through the trees. Some of the trees are massive and majestically tower over you as you meander along the pathways. There are plenty of benches to sit on and... More

This was near our hotel and we enjoyed a stroll around it, the colours of the flowers were lovely and it was beautifully maintained in addition to the wonderful lakeside views. There seemed to be a number of activities available including frisbee golf which we had never come across before, as well as bowls and a tennis court.

Great frisbee golf course and very well kept gardens! The path that follows the lake is also a really nice walk.

There are epic trees planted here, along with many many flowers! It can get a wee rowdy with younger adults drinking and cavorting in the evenings, but the police station is adjacent, so it was all good fun. Staff do a great job maintaining the garden!
