Compact garden located easily accessible from the central beach of Queenstown. Beautiful rose garden. Takes less than an hour to complete a stroll. Fun to watch people playing frisbee golf.

Thanks to a Frenchman M. St Omer and some Brits the Queenstown gardens are a fantastic asset to the town on a peninsula opposite the piers. The original planting of a variety of trees, now in their maturity after 150 years is a tribute to people who knew they would never live to see the fruits of their labour but... More

The garden is beautifully set up - has activities for all, ice skating rink, skateboard ramps, biking around the lake, walk around to enjoy the gardens. At the bottom of the garden, there is children's play ground. Great for families with young children.

We did the 20 minute short walk but managed enjoyed an hour strolling and stopping and photographing the gardens for about an hour this morning. The rose garden is quite spectacular. An oasis just minutes from downtown Queenstown.

The gardens are a great place to not only view beautiful roses and flowers but also to take the walk around the lake and take in all that fresh air and scenery. Very popular but a must do whilst in Queenstown

I went for a walk around this park when I had a free day in Queenstown and I am glad I did. The park is not big but it's beautiful, calming and offers gorgeous views of Queenstown and The Remarkables.

These are really beautiful gardens to walk around, go for a ride or even just play frisbee! (There is a competition track). Not very big, you can do it all in maybe an hour or so, or just go for a picnic and stay as long as you want. You can get very nice pictures not only with the gardens... More
