Beautiful setting, beautiful architecture, great wine, knowledgable staff makes for a must visit when you're in QT. The cliff driveway alone above the rushing river makes the trip worth it.

Tasted 6-7 wines and they were all delicious! Staff were extremely knowledgeable about wines and different flavours! Bought the Riesling and the Pinot Noir!

Do not go here if you have a phobia about a narrow dirt track, steep drop to the fast-flowing river below and hard solid cliff face just to make it difficult if you drive a vehicle there. Frankly, to get there, it is not for...More

Nice selection of wines for tasting. Free if you bought wine, otherwise $10 donation to local hospice. Great idea.

We could see this beautiful winery from across the gorge when driving past AJ Hackett. I instantly wanted to go even if they were closed for tasting. The road in winds around and hugs the side of the hill with spectacular views. The wines were...More

Some people find it hard to believe that the road was once the main road into Queenstown. We are glad you enjoyed the drive, even if a little hairy. Thank you for your feedback on the service and wine tasting experience you received. We try...More
