This is an excellent park to visit. The views are spectacular with "Lord of the Rings" forested areas within the park. A beautiful palace to walk and hike around. A boat ride around Milford Sound is a must do.

The road was very scenic. As we headed higher we saw more snow on the mts. We got to a place where the road was closed. We turned around. It is certainly a place to return again. The Park is just so beautiful not to be missed

The beauty of the region and the many great walks available make this an ideal destination for anyone who enjoys hiking. Bring your best rain gear and layer because the weather can change quickly in November. Picture taken near Mt. Luxmore.

Pictures attached won't do justice. Stopping by Mirror Lake and side of Motorway to capture the fantastic view of the snow cap mountain and falls. Reminiscence of Lord of the Rings movies. We were all in Ah. What a beautiful calm peaceful surrounding.

I have been to many places on this planet but this drive from Te Anau to Milford sound what's the most amazing of any I've ever taken. Too many waterfalls to count and the most amazing scenery. Do not miss this drive but be safe as the road can be treacherous.

We passed through the park on our way to Milford Sound. We made several stops which helped break up the long journey from Queenstown. The best part was that although we were focused on Milford Sound, the journey through the park was equally spectacular. The scenery is unbelievable and there are lots of places to pull over and take photos.... More

Luckily, we had 2 nights camping in the park and were able to stop at different locations for each of our meals. We went on a bunch of short hikes and rode our mountain bikes on some remote roads. Our trip started with sunshine and serenity and ended in pouring rain and epic waterfalls. Unfortunately the Milford Road was the... More
