I called in on the off-chance that it may be interesting. Wow! Certainly worth the effort. Unfortunately I was short on time but will return. Staff went out of their way to be of assistance.

We enjoyed a family visit with an 8 year old who found the dinosaur exhibit of more interest than the fossils and minerals.

The museum is a very interesting and unique place and a must go while in Bathurst. Informs you a lot about minerals and fossils. Really nice and pretty minerals and fossils on showcase.

The museum has a great selection of fossils and mineral displays with the feature being a dinosaur skeleton. Kids loved it and the so would fossil and rock lovers.

The museum is a great place to visit if you like gems and fossils. There are a huge amount of gemstones with lots of information. Plus the fossils include a trex skeleton plus lots of other fossils and lots of information with them as well.
