This is an excellent collection of beautiful rock samples from the Broken Hill area. There is also a very good and informative short video.

My wife and I attended a free walking tour of the historical section of Broken Hill. Our guide, a retired miner, was entertaining and very knowledgeable on the history of mining and the town inn general. Well worth a visit if you are in the...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and spent a good 1.5 there. A fantastic informative audiovisual explaining the history of the mining in Broken Hill and the minerals were very well laid out with excellent explanations. Quite affordable entrance price of $8 pp for seniors. Well...More

So much to see here, friendly staff, my husband just loved it and stayed much longer than I would of. More a mans thing i think, depends on your interests.

This was well set out and the multitude of minerals is astonishing. Would love to know what they are all used for. Movie and written info is good. Large silver nugget and Silver tree is very interesting.

For one as I am interested in geology this presentation showed the geological history and the path to this fantastic and historical district...staff was great and display well presented.so glad w visited
