Enjoyed the board walk from east Newcastle to Nobbys beach which takes about 50 minutes. One of the best board walks in Australia. Lovely place to go.

In this perfect winter weather, it is wonderful to be outside. Take the opportunity to walk out along Nobby's breakwall. You'll probably see whales at this time of year. If the lighthouse is open, go up and have a look.

Often try to find time on the weekends to visit, it gets busy but worth the walk along. The stroll is peaceful and not to far of a walk back onto hunter street and enjoy a coffee. Easy parking nearby, family friendly.

Great walk up to the light house along the spit at Nobbys beach or a great spot to swim in summer. Walk around the foreshore to Newcastle beach and enjoy seeing the tugs bring the ships in from the spit

a beautiful winters walk along the water watching the ships enter and leave and the waves come pounding in, then lunch and a quick drink at the Nobby's Surf Life Saving Club, no complaints at all

Definitely worth to go. Short walk distance from Newcastle Bus Stop. Go up to the lighthouse and you could see amazing view.

The beach is the perfect place to walk in winter on a sunny day. Looks like a great place for a swim in summer.

I haven't had experience with holiday parks but agree regarding Stockton holiday park as there will probably be extra ferries available to & from Stockton on the for this event.
