Saw dolphins. Watched surfers and swimmers. One day the waves were small and swimmers could go out from shore a long way. Another day the waves were high and a bit violent.Good surfing, but not swimming.

This is a must to visit when going to Newcastle. You can also go for a walk to Nobby's lighthouse and have coffee upon reaching the top. You deserve it!

This beach is a patrolled beach in Summer that has a nice surf house and sun shelters. Its a good swimming beach that has a good walk up to Nobbys Lighthouse.

I have bought tickets for the Foreshore concert here in November 2016. Whats a nice close park for us to stay in if we decide to bring our campervan up, otherwise some nice accomodation walking distance to stay in on the beach.

I haven't had experience with holiday parks but agree regarding Stockton holiday park as there will probably be extra ferries available to & from Stockton on the for this event.
