Glad that after the scrum of the retail store at the front, we were sat in the larger and peaceful cafe at the back. Lovely well rounded board with tasting noted though we were only given a quick 2 minute intro and then left on...More

I have never been to a more appallingly expensive shop. A basic jar of marmalade for more than $20! Basic cheeses are not double the price -it is about 4 times the price they should be. There is no cheese tasting other than if you...More

We were disappointed with a recent visit, after a gap of 10 years. The cheese, olives, and oils were very expensive. There was no attempt to create any atmosphere - it was a tin shed with concrete floor. The staff did not engage with visitors,...More

I have had the cheese tasting here a few years ago when I visited and bought some cheeses, however; this time that I visited I got the cheese tasting but didn’t purchase any cheese. The cheese is quiet expensive and it was not to my...More

We dropped into the Cheese Factory for the advertised Cheese tasting. For $13.95 per person, we were given 5 crackers each with cheese on them and 4 tiny dips. We had just been to a Wine Tasting tour and were given more cheese and crackers...More

Hi Sheryl, Thank you for taking time to review our business. Our $13.95 Regional Cheese & Produce Tasting has five gourmet wafers to match five of our handmade artisan cheeses. While we are each entitled to our opinions I do dispute the four tiny dips...More

This is a shop specialising in cheese and other expensive deli items such as olives, speciality oils and vinegars. Don’t kid yourself that it is anything else. Tasting platters were advertised on a blackboard for $7.95 or $13.95. We had just had breakfast, so didn’t...More

We had heard that this shop provided light meals and specialised in cheese platters for any number of people. There were six of us. We had the choice of different cheeses, which were supplemented by sourdough slices and crackers (2 types), which in addition to...More

This is one of the more popular tourist stops in the region as it's close to the Hunter Valley Gardens and directly next to the McGuigan winery. I'm personally not a fan of cheese but my wife is, so we stopped by as well since...More

Good supermarkets in Sydney have a much better choice of cheese at better prices than the "cheese factory". What's more you have to pay for the privilege of tasting (5 tiny pieces of cheese on crackers for $7.45). A real tourist trap to be avoided...More
