This is a difficult walk, especially from the Tacking Point end.Superb views along the way and a couple of brutal sets of stairs to climb. But the sense of achievement when you arrive at Town Beach made it worthwhile. Will I do it again - you bet! 🙌🙌🙌

A most interesting and enjoyable hike! The trail was very well constructed and easily navigated although there are many steps and inclines which make it somewhat of a work out! There are many beautiful ocean views and interesting plants and birds throughout!

One of the best coastal walks ever! Where else can you access loads of diverse beaches and environments all on the one event? Best to walk real early in morning, take water and camera and enjoy the scenery!

Take a long walk or just do sections they all have great views. I constantly think to myself how lucky the people of Port Macquarie are to have such a beautiful coastline.

I was disappointed in the coast walk. No proper sign posting, not continuous and definitely not pram friendly. Unfortunately there wasn't even a foot path near the road to follow. We had to use the shoulder of the road.

Such a beautiful way to gain perspective and enjoy my gorgeous town. I walk the coastal walk every week and am still not sick of it. I love chatting to the puppies along nobbies beach. Grabbing a drink along the way at flynns. Braving the rocks on Shelley beach and coming face to face with the Bush turkeys and Goannas.... More

We walked from the Mid Pacific Hotel along the river walk until we got to the first beach. Then kept walking on beaches and tracks above beaches for km's. Then homeward bound we went via streets and the town back to hotel. LOVELY area.

We started at Flynns beach and had a lovely stroll on the way to dinner in town. You walk around the beaches so you don't need to get your feet sandy if you don't want to. It is good for kids too. Our boys had fun spotting birds.
