If you have children, definitely pop in to the koala hospital. You can see koalas in their cages, learn about their injuries and how the hospital is working to rehabilitate them to release them back into the wild. A perfectly Australian, feel-good experience!!

Although the hospital part was closed, it was still great seeing the koalas which had been rescued, the ones who couldn't be returned to the country area to look after themselves. The interactive display was great.

Went to check out this place and it is great to see a hospital purely run for the benefit of koalas. People bring in injured koalas and these guys fix them up and mostly return them to the wild. It is run by dedicated volunteers...More

We didn't expect the koala hospital to be as good as it was. It's a fantastic set up where the koalas get their own open top enclosures where they get trees to climb up. Some of them are permanent guests but others are in the...More

Half a day is more than enough - the tours only happen at 3pm so we got there at 2.30 and left at around 4.30.

It's free to enter and view and attend the talk time presentations but donations can be made to support the great work done by the volunteers. Tourist items can also be purchased.
