We visited this place as “tourists” just after Chinese New Year celebrations there. This is well kept place and very peaceful. One can get there by city bus from Wollongong. The food was excellent.

I spent about 4 hours and that was not enough to explore beauty of Nan Tien Temple and surroundings. They also made bridge to cross motorway, which is amazing.
