There is lots to do and see in this museum. It is well planned out and very interactive. The world has clearly changed since the time of Hinkler and to see the old photos of what Bundaberg was like back then was great. The building...More

A walk back through history of one of Australia's great pioneers of aviation. Very informative and also hands on with simulators to allow you to fly early to late model planes over Bundaberg. This is not a museum with numerous planes like the Oaky Military...More

A very well displayed history of this remarkable aviator. I particularly enjoyed the interactive displays, and the oversize box brownie was a definite must.

We didn't end up paying to go in as we didn't really have the time for the lot... the free info and walk around the house was very interesting and worth it.

I didn't know that Australia had a famous aviator being from NZ....so I found it really interesting. It is a stunning building and really well laid out. I enjoyed the flight simulators and the audio visual presentations.

What an eye opener! This incredible Australian was so much more than an aviator of note. Inventor, engineer, scientist, entrepreneur and adventurer. This museum provides important insights into his myriad of achievements as well as the personal life of this most interesting character. Highly recommended.

What an amazing man Bert Hinkler was. You cannot go to Bundaberg & not visit. The museum is so well set up with all the information you need to discover just what a gun Bert Hinkler was. Superb.

Interesting history of a very passionate Australian aviator. Good location in the Botanical gardens, but could do with better sign posting from CBD. Good quality exhibits, but the 3 flight simulators were not working - not a biggie but for children could be. A little...More
