Under the careful and crafty eyes of our Distillers, Blenders and Bondsmen, millions of litres of Bundaberg Rum are aged to perfection here at the Bundaberg Rum Distillery. After protecting and ageing our rums since the 70s, the grand old guardian of the distillery Bondstore #7, has been given new life by being transformed into our immersive Bundaberg Rum Museum. Inside, you’ll walk through a series of 75,000 litre American White Oak Vats – the very same vats which have matured hundreds of thousands of litres of rum (after being emptied and rebuilt of course). Inside these vats live a sensory experience where you can see, touch and smell your way through our rich history in creating Australia’s Favourite Rum – Bundaberg Rum. Please ensure that you arrive at least 20-30 mins early for your tour, especially for the last tour of the day and during school holiday periods. Unfortunately Flammable devices; matches and lighters, as well as any item with a battery including; watches, cameras, and mobile phones, pose a fire hazard to the Distillery and cannot be taken on tour. Lockers are provided free of charge to store these items whilst inside the Distillery on tour. If you have a medically required device such as a hearing aid, give us a call in advance so we can make arrangements for you to bring those items with you.

We loved the visit, we loved the tour, we loved the information provided, we loved the tasting but we did not like the "made in China" on the bottom of the glasses we purchased together with the fantastic Small Batch Reserve Rum

We visited the distillery on a week day and it was not buisy. The staff were very friendly. The displays were interesting and informative. The best thing was the sampling at the end.

I don't drink rum but had a great time on this tour. Guides were knowledgable and enthusiastic to share their knowledge. This is a great stop off in this beautiful region of Queensland.

Went on the distillery tour and was quite informative. Didn’t know a lot and came out with quite a bit of information on how Bundaberg Rum came about. Taste tested different rims at the end. Well worth going to.

We had a great afternoon visiting the distillery. We did a “Blend your own” tour and it was fantastic! The guides were lovely and informative. This was an experience we will remember forever. Thank you to the friendly staff too!

For a moderate entry price, this tour has it all. A tastefully designed and informative museum, a guided tour of the distillery with the knowledgeable and affable Damien, and a tot or two of rum afterward! Does a tour tour get better than that?

2 tastings are included in your entry fee so not really free. Be aware all your handbags, wallets, watches, mobiles, etc. are put into secure lockers until the end of the tour.
