It's more of a Gully than a Gorge, otherwise it's a very pleasant short walk through the dry vine scrub.

What a wonderful place to stay. The ammenities are clean, there are free BBQ's, and picnic tables, and this is a free stay. Most of the parking area is level, and there is plenty of room for small or large vehicles. There is a huge...More

This is a good picnic spot with free overnight camping allowed and a lovely walk to enjoy which takes you through the rainforest and down to the lookout to view the river. Facilities are good with toilets, BBQs and picnic shelters.

Nice little nature walk, took about 15 mins or less to get to the lookout at the end. We even stopped to see a snake sliding along the path and off into the bush, that was pretty cool if you like snakes!

The surroundings are beautiful and lots of shade. I rate this doe average for overnight camping because; *no soap in toilets, *no showers (but you can't expect that really from a free camp site), * no tap for bottles or bucket, rather an outside sink,...More
