The restaurant in this hotel is a hidden treasure

Had 2 dinners here. They have well above average pub food & excellent value. As good or even better than most cafes in the area well worth a try

Have been here many times, never had anything other than great food and the nostalgia of past days of Coolangatta on the walls is great, service has always been great too, I will keep coming back.....:)

I was charged double for a 1 night stay in a female dormitory from 23rd-24th Feb 2017. I booked thru Agoda and paid thru Agoda, but the hotel also charged my Visa debit card upon check in. At first they claimed that the booking has not been paid for, but when I checked my booking again, they reconfirm that it... More

We really enjoyed our lunch. The Stone & Wood fish and Chicken salad were delicious. Awesome Margarita too! Our waitress made us feel so welcome. The whole experience exceeded our expectation. We'll be back soon!

Woah.. What gorgeously comfortable decor, awesomely friendly staff, great menu and quick to serve delicious food. I chose the lamb cutlets which were so tender.. The best I have ever eaten. Even our little guy (1y/o) couldn't say no to a roast potato they were that tasty (wouldn't share my lamb, no way!). Loved it.Hubby's fish and chips were perfect... More

That's just about the best I can say about this place. Because it's across the road from the beach it's pretty much relying on the beach crowd so they don't worry too much about things. Like, service, food quality etc. The reason for the above could be because we were there on a "public holiday" New Year's Eve, and the... More

You will not find a better steak meal in the area and you can believe me on that because i have tried them all over the previous few years and this one wins everytime! Most bbq flavour, best salad dressing unique and you could eat it by the bowl full! Nice sized meal not too small but not too large.... More

Menu is simple but great tasting and good portion sizes. Iconic Coolangatta pub. Has had some dodgy workers but they seem to have moved on to SLSC.

Really enjoyed my time watching the state of origin. It was low key, laid back, but also had its side of rowdiness during the game. I was surprised they were offering $4 beers during the event as well. Very solid in my opinion. Also good if you'd like to get to know some fellow travelers as I met several that... More
