6 months ago I wrote a review of the Spit and I was critical of the lack of care the area had received. It was messy and untidy, the walkways were uneven and the car-park was like a quarry. It couldn't look more different today...!...More

I enjoy The Spit .. it's good for snorkeling and also for surfing. But arrive early because parking can sometimes be an issue

Seaway Kiosk is really a cafe with the most awesome Crab Sandwiches you'll ever taste! Drive past SeaWorld and at the very end of the spit is a massive car park on the right. Highly recommended!!!

This area at the northern end of Seaworld Drive provides wonderful views back along the coast past Main Beach and Surfers P. all the way to Coolangatta, which you can just make out on a clear day. A stroll along the rock groyne is good...More

walking out to the end of the rock wall with visitors is something we always do, especially around dusk, you really see the changing of the light and the gold coast coming to life at night. simply beautiful.
