If you go to Australia or to Queensland, don't forget to check out this joint. It's awesome. Loads of fun. I loved the parasailing, bunji jumping and jet skiing. It's an unforgettable experience. Cost is reasonable too.

A very popular dog friendly beach. A clean beach for walking, running, sunbathing, swimming or surfing. The beach is very sunny and does not offer much shade. It does however offer, beautiful views all year round.
This is an awesome area near a big city where there is plenty of green space & wonderful beaches.
Lets hope the Council does not destroy it with stupid ideas of a Cruise Ship Terminal that despite a report that states it is not viable,...More
we walked along the walking/bike track from Main beach (approx10km return trip) good paths through costal scrub (lots of banksia trees etc) loads of birdlife too. You can walk along the beach as an alternative, or even drive and park near the Spit.
Plenty of parking here and tea rooms and toilets.
Nice place to have a walk with a sea breeze but they charge a little to go out on the sand pumping jetty $2.20 ea adult at the moment.
