Took the inlaws for brekky and a wander through the park. Cafe and food excellent, park excellent. Council has done a great job. Enjoyed it so much we went back two more times that same week! A definite must see and do in Mackay.
A small but nice botanical garden with a lagoon in the centre. Nice parks and lots of shade. A regular place to visit that is quiet and close to the CBD. A few times a year special events are held here.

This area includes a walking track and is situated near a pond which has turtles and ducks as well as other creatures. It is a nice spot for small children to explore and there are play areas in proximity.
