I found this place very interesting have good look around, plenty to look at, don't forget to look the murals on one of the carriages an absolute work of art done by an old aboriginal fellow. I enjoyed this museum

Really nice old railways platform and rolling stock all done by volunteers so couple of small gold coins should suffice. Barry was our guide but if you don’t want a guide no probs . He was very informative as we walked round loved the carriages...More

Passionate group of volunteers. Enjoyable experience good to see the progress they have made. We bought a sleeper to help support them in their efforts.

Awesome dedication of volunteers on a regular basis. Caters for events and offers many other open visits too the public. The aboriginal art is outstanding very meaningful and a place to reflect on our history. Well done keep up the great work and repairs.

Hi, DownsSteam is open every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between 9am and 3pm. Closed over the christmas period and re-open on the 3rd of January
