Lovely day out plenty to do stroll along the Main Street and browse shops. Beach lovely and clean and a pier to walk along . Great park for the children and there was also a waterslide. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops to visit.

What's a visit to Glenelg without a walk on the pier? See if your icecream survives and melts before you can eat it. Historically one of the first stops for the English Cricket team in days gone by. Jetty road food stops nearby,Hotel on the corner for a more elaborate lunch looking over the water.....and the pier walk is free..... More

A Pier is a pier, but it was nice to walk out along. In good weather the water is the most amazing colours

Great beach and lovely Jetty. The playground looks pretty sweet for the kiddos. For the pokemon go players there is quite a few stops and a lot of pokemon spawn here.

Very nice atmosphere here. Lots of places to see and do. Entertainment for the kids with the water spurts. Plus the beachhouse around the corner. Plenty of fun for the adults to have with clubs and pubs. There are bars and hotels. Jetty rd attracts vast amounts of vehicles that have had money spent on them. ( proud owners show... More

This is such a wonderful beach for families and people of all ages. The free children's playground equipment is fantastic. We have recently moved in apartments on the beachfront and couldn't be happier. So we get to see Glenelg at all times of the day and evening. We love watching the people walking their dogs in the morning and it... More
