The architecture is fantastic, lovely blend of the old building with the new. Exhibitions a bit hit and miss for us. Went to see the Jane Austen inspired clothing collection, last days, really enjoyed it. The "patient" collection however was not my cup of tea.

Unfortunately most of the gallery was unavailable when we visited as they were doing a change over of exhibits but the little we saw was interesting. I would visit again if i had time

We popped in here when passing through the town and more focused on some of the more well known local attractions. It is a great building and space, perhaps not quite matched by the quality of the current exhibitions - 'People Like Us' (pretty good)...More
