Having heard about this wonderful geographical site we were also intrigued by learning that the sink hole has possums which come out at night - they are nocturnal - and obviously you can see them but also feed them with fresh fruit.

This is definitely a must see attraction when in Mt Gambier. The views are fantastic and it’s a lovely place to spend a little time exploring. There are a lot of stairs so not suitable for prams. Be mindful when walking down with young children...More
No, what i think you are talking about is a display on the outside of the building overlooking what the locals call The Cave Gardens. It shows nightly, but is not really a sound and light show, more of a movie clip.

Great feed anf if you are wanting somwhere central to stay....Mt Gambier Central Tourist Park. Great place..great rates and great amenities.
