This tour was recommended by the helpful staff at the Lady Nelson information centre. We were the only people on the 45 minute tour which cost $10 each (cash) well worth it. Gary is very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. Down a glass...More
A great family visit to discover how the water is pumped for the town's water supply and to get up close to the most beautiful Blue Lake. We loved seeing the pump spray, walking through the tunnel and the slightly scary lift. Lots of information...More
We struck a lucky tour perhaps, with small numbers (just two others apart from us), one of whom was a geologist. The tour guide and geologist between them were spectacular sources of knowledge and able to explain so much about the lakes, craters, volcanoes, water...More
Tour was really interesting and informative. Would recommend to anyone interested in that kind of thing. Probably not for everyone. You need to make that decision based on what you are personally interested in.

Once I heard there was a tour down closer to the lake i had to take it. Was totally worth it and way more informative than I had anticipated. The guide knew everything about the lake and the pumping station for the towns water supply....More

My husband and I were the only ones taking this particular tour but they still took us, the tour guide was very interesting, and funny, he answered all our questions, and didn't mind that we were a bit slow
