This is a great little gallery and worth a stop for art lovers. Although the collection is small it is well presented and they have a mixture of painting, photography, ceramics ans furniture on display. Unfortunately they do not sell a catalog of their own...More

The art and aboriginal history was all interesting but the two items that caught my attention were the portrait of Grace Lord and the way Tasmania parted from the mainland was illustrated.

Wonderful building and frankly THE highlight of the city. Done and made so exceptionally well showcasing the best of everything art in Tasmania, which might just leave people by, if the only thing they do is historic museums and MONA. This NEEDS to be visited...More

Great afternoon spent at the art gallery in Launceston. Free entry but donations greatfully accepted. Baudin's voyagers 1800-1804. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Gallery space is wonderful. Some of the exhibitions ordinary. The coffee shop is excellent. Very obliging staff, excellent coffee and tasty slices.

Tiny gallery, nothing worth paying an entry fee for. Can't say that this was of any interest unless there was something special on and you happened to be passing by.
